Cost per hire, answered.
Is this cost-per-hire calculator really free?
Yes. Enter your total roles, average CTC, hiring mix, recruiter payroll, and agency fees, and get an instant estimate — no sign-up, no email, and no limit on how many times you run it.
How is cost per hire calculated here?
Today's cost per hire sums two line items for a year of hiring — agency fees (roles filled via agency × average CTC × agency fee %) and your internal recruiter payroll — then divides by total roles hired per year.
How is the "with JIA" estimate calculated?
It's built from one automation assumption: JIA automates 80% of a recruiter's job — sourcing, screening, and coordination. That shows up twice: as 80% of your recruiter payroll saved (cash math) and as the same share of a recruiter's hours freed up (capacity math) — it's the same automation counted once each, not two separate savings. Freed-up capacity is also assumed to let agency-sourced roles move in-house, so agency fees are modeled as fully recovered. Your recommended plan's own annual cost (see /pricing for current rates) is subtracted, so the comparison is net, not gross.
Why can "cash saved" be negative?
On a small team paying for a pricier tier than its hiring volume needs, the recommended plan's cost can outweigh agency and recruiter savings. When that happens, the case for JIA is the recruiter capacity it frees up, not the cash line.
How is this different from using JustInterview.ai (JIA)?
This tool gives you a standalone estimate you can use for planning or a business case. JIA goes further — it screens résumés, runs AI interviews on demand, scores assessments, and hands you a ranked shortlist, which is what actually produces the savings modeled here.
