Salary benchmarking, answered.
Is this salary benchmark tool really free?
Yes. Pick a role, city, and experience level to see a monthly and annual compensation range instantly — no sign-up, no email, and no limit on how many you check.
Where does the salary data come from?
Ranges are modeled, not pulled from a live licensed dataset. Each role has a baseline India compensation figure, which is adjusted by a city cost-of-living / talent-market index (Bengaluru = 1.00) and an experience multiplier to produce median, 25th, 75th, and 90th percentile estimates. It's a directional benchmark for planning, not a certified compensation survey.
How accurate are the ranges?
They're a reasonable starting point for budgeting a role or sanity-checking an offer — not a substitute for real-time market data, a paid compensation survey, or a location-specific pay audit. Actual pay varies by company size, industry, and individual candidate.
Why is India-specific coverage the focus?
Compensation benchmarks for India — especially for high-volume roles like BPO, support, sales, and operations — are harder to find free and in one place than for the US or Europe. This tool is built around Indian cities and roles first.
How is this different from using JustInterview.ai (JIA)?
This tool gives you a standalone compensation range you can use for planning. JIA goes further — it helps you post the role, screen candidates with AI, run interviews, and get a ranked shortlist, all in one place.
